FAQ Corona (EN)

What is the current situation regarding the Coronavirus regarding to my camping holiday?

We understand that you have questions and concerns about your holiday based on recent reports. It is difficult to estimate the situation at the time of your arrival date.

If we have to cancel your reservation, because our campsite cannot open due to the corona crisis, you will receive a voucher worth the amount paid so far.

This voucher is valid this season and next season (until September 30, 2021).

Can I get a refund instead of a voucher?

We can imagine that you would prefer a refund of your paid travel sum. However, this exceptional situation calls for exceptional measures. We have opted for this solution, which is supported by the industry organization HISWA-RECRON.

Because there is force majeure and the cause is beyond our control, you cannot claim any further compensation.

What if the campsite / accommodation is not open at the time of my arrival date?

If the campsite is not open, we will contact you in order of arrival date.

What if the campsite is open, there is no negative travel advice (code red) for the destination, but I cannot get to the campsite due to travel restrictions in my own country?

If this is the case, you can request a voucher for your holiday.

What if I want to cancel my booking myself?

If you want to cancel yourself, you must pay the cancellation costs that apply at the time of cancellation according to our booking conditions.

I’m going on vacation in the summer. What should I do?

The summer is still far away and it is difficult to estimate the situation at the time of your arrival date. We advise you to simply keep your booking. If it turns out that the campsite has to close, you will receive a voucher of the amount paid up to that point.

Can I appeal to the Calamity Fund?

No, the Calamity Fund does not pay out in case of illness or pandemics. The Calamity Fund only covers natural disasters, riots or (civil) war at your holiday destination.

What are the safety measures that the campsite will take and will this affect the availability of facilities?

At this moment we do not yet have any concrete information about any security measures and adapted facilities. As soon as we have more information about this, we will communicate it on our website. During this special time, our campsite will do everything to ensure your safety and will follow the RIVM guidelines, so that you and your family can still enjoy a pleasant and carefree holiday.
